COLD STORAGE + LEDGERS!!!

Okay, I finally made a tutorial for how to set up a ledger:

As always, do not just trust me! In My OG Security 101 Post, I have this GUIDE FROM MANIFOLD's substack... this includes a written step by step guide plus links to Ledger's official documentation. I suggest you verify with multiple sources.

All other links you need should be in Manifolds guide :)

Now, my video will walk you through setting up a ledger. Ledger is not the only hardware waller, Trezor is trusted as well. That said, in the US you can buy ledgers in person at best buy, (so no excuses go get one today!!)

Also, I do have a ledger referral code/ Link :) If this convinced you to buy one, I would so appreciate you using this :)

https://shop.ledger.com/?referral_code=K0V4BZKVJ531X (copy and paste link or use code @ checkout for any nano device)

I would recommend shipping to a PO box if you have, (and getting 2, so that you have a backup in case it breaks)

YOUR COLD STORAGE IS ONLY TRULY COLD IF IT IS NOT CONNECTING TO ANYTHING.

FOR TRULY COLD STORAGE - (my video goes through this)

1) generate seed on cold storage device

2) DO NOT STORE THIS DIGITALLY ANYWHERE

3) Use a WALLET SEGMENTATION strategy to create a true vault

YOU WILL NEVER ENTER YOUR SEED PHRASE ONLINE

Make Multiple Accounts on your hardware wallet if you only have 1 hardware wallet

(you do not need multiple devices, though this helps mitigate risk to a degree)

1) TRUE VAULT -- assets only get transferred in and out

2) COLLABLAND/VULCAN - SEMI COLD VAULT - (consider making multiple of these) - connect to collabland and vulcan once, make sure you are doing this properly

3) WARM LISTING WALLET - Wallet that only connects to market places to list assets. Transfer in when you want to sell, transfer ETH out

4) WARM TRADING WALLET - Wallet that you use to swap / trade amount you want to SWAP/ TRADE

5) DELEGATE WALLET - (for delegate.cash)

5) MINTING/DEGEN WALLET - stores no assets & only enough eth to mint what you are going to mint that day.

Do as many as you need for the assets you hold!

ENS subdomains are a good way to organize -- see more details in the OG security guide :)
